Position Overview
As a Cannabis Sanitation/Destruction Associate, you will be responsible for:

• Participating in the cleaning and sanitization of both production and non-production areas, ensuring compliance with Good Production Practices (GPP).
• Preventing cross-contamination of products, equipment, and surfaces during sanitation procedures.
• Safely handling cleaning agents, including high amounts of ethanol, and maintaining sanitation tools and equipment.
• Adhering to sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and company policies, promoting Health and Safety regulations.
• Managing waste in accordance with the Cannabis Act, including the destruction of cannabis oil products and maintaining meticulous records.
• Collaborating with production and QA teams to meet sanitation requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in sanitation within a regulated environment.
• Previous experience with cleaning chemicals and agents.
• Ability to read and interpret safety documents, regulations, and data sheets.
• Strong prioritization skills to achieve daily sanitation goals.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 lbs safely.
• Experience with a Canadian Licensed Producer (LP) or knowledge of the Cannabis Act, GPP, and GMP is an asset.
• Open work permit holder, Canadian citizen, or Permanent Resident of Canada.
• Availability for day shifts (Sunday to Saturday, 7:30 am to 8 pm), working 4 shifts one week and 3 shifts the following week on an alternating schedule, including every other weekend.

SCHEDULE
?      “Half Continental” rotating shift schedule (DAY shift): 4 days one week, 3 days the following week, every other weekend
?      Sunday through to Saturday (7-day operation). Hours are 7:30am – 8:00pm (12.5 hours)
?      Breaks are: three 30 min breaks to be broken up based on team needs and discussed with Supervisor/Manager
