Performance & Project Leadership

The Project Facilitator is responsible to organize, document, and facilitate project activities; including supporting project delivery, project management, and risk management mitigation. This position will facilitate project and portfolio management reporting, and collaborate with multiple stakeholders, internal and external, to ensure outcomes are successfully achieved.

Rate of Pay: $33.64 to $42.05 per hour

Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week

Duration: up to April 2025 

Qualifications

 
  • Successful completion of a college diploma in: Health, Business, Education, or as acceptable by the hospital
  • Project Management Certificate preferred
  • Minimum of two (2) years recent, related experience, preferably in health care project management involving multiple stakeholders
  • Demonstrated planning and evaluation skills
  • Excellent facilitation skills e.g consensus building and problem solving
  • Excellent project and change management skills
  • Proficient in financial management
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills
  • Demonstrated resource planning and performance measurement skills
  • Advanced computer literacy including Microsoft Office Suite and corporate productivity tools
  • Proficient knowledge of local and regional health care systems
  • Demonstrated knowledge of and commitment to the principles of patient and family centred care
  • Demonstrated knowledge of and commitment to patient and staff safety at LHSC
  • Demonstrated practice and commitment to LHSC's vision, purpose and values
  • Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular basis

Immunization Requirements:

Before beginning employment at LHSC, all new hires will be required to: 

  • Provide vaccination records or proof of immunity against measles, mumps, rubella and varicella (chicken pox), Hepatitis B, Tetanus/ Diphtheria/Polio; Meningitis;  
  • Provide documentation of the Tuberculosis skin testing (two step);  
  • Provide proof of Health Canada-approved COVID-19 vaccination reflective of Ontario Health’s current definition of being fully vaccinated
