Job Description
Product Manager
As a member of our Global Marketing team, you will execute on global brand strategies including product roadmap, new product requirements, and life cycle management. Drive product adoption, and market share growth. Move a product from creation and shape healthcare for professionals and patients around the world.
Responsibilities Include:
Go-to-Market Strategy
- Develop clear understanding of therapy landscape for assigned product line, including key competitors, advantages and disadvantages of various drug/device combinations, therapeutic and diagnostic product/device offerings, disease management guidelines, regulatory and reimbursement requirements, etc.
- Responsible for gaining and tracking ongoing competitive market intelligence, including development of clinical knowledge, understanding of the competitive landscape, competitive products, market pricing and benchmarking.
- Support development of patient and clinician insights by focusing on patient journey and key stakeholder attachment points
- Supports the creation of marketing strategies, branding, positioning and portfolio direction based on market insights.
Marketing Planning & Execution
- Create valuable customer experiences by supporting execution of strategies for assigned products, i.e., including branding, global brand value proposition, positioning, and messaging, etc.
- Raise brand awareness through constant communication, social media, digital marketing efforts and best method sharing
- Planning and executing initiatives to reach target audiences through appropriate channels (direct and indirect sales teams, social media, email, webinar, others) and work with our marketing team to create meaningful outbound campaigns tailored to potential prospects needs
Reporting and Measurement
- Ensure that strategy and messaging effectiveness is measured, i.e., by collecting and analyzing applicable data.
- Ensure performance is monitored and tracked.
Relationship Management
- Share information cross-functionally to ensure timely delivery of projects and to keep abreast of market opportunities.
- Ensure patient centricity is integrated in everything we do from inception to launch and in-market life cycle management by conducting patient insights sessions
- Support establishment of relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
Health and Safety
- Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety legislation, including the Workplace Safety and Insurance Act, the Occupational Health and Safety Act, etc.
Qualifications
- Degree in Marketing, Business or a related field of study; MBA preferred.
- 1+ year of experience in marketing or product management, preferably in within medical, life sciences or related field
- Ability to create and maintain effective and collaborative relationships within and outside the organization
- Strong relationship building skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong business writing skills
- Ability to create and implement effective marketing plans and materials
- Experience in new product introduction and market research through internships or coursework
