The NTS Support Analyst designs, implements, and maintains enterprise and data centre networks across multi-campus environments. This role ensures the availability, performance, and security of the network infrastructure while supporting critical services for patient care, business operations, and departmental systems. Technical responsibilities of this role include administering firewalls and security appliances; managing remote access for staff and regional partners; configuring data centre infrastructure; and troubleshooting networking issues. In other organizations, this role may also be known as Network Engineer or Network Analyst. 

 

The Network and Telecom Services (NTS) team is responsible for all components of the core network infrastructures connecting all hospital sites within London, including affiliated medical centres and clinics, HMMS, data centres, and a regional hub for the Thames Valley hospitals. The network provides resources for patient care, voice telecommunications, wireless connectivity, business systems, departmental systems, and building control. 

 

Regular Full-time

 

Hours of Work:              37.5 hours per week

 

Rate of Pay:                  $30.70 per hour - $38.37 per hour

Qualifications

 
  • High school diploma
  • Successful completion of a 2-year college diploma in Computer Systems Technology, Network Administration or Cyber Security preferred; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience as determined by the Hospital
  • Minimum one (1) to three (3) years' recent related experience required
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) preferred 
  • Advanced problem resolution and troubleshooting skills and aptitude 
  • Advanced technical analytical skills 
  • Proficient customer service and interpersonal skills 
  • Proficient project implementation skills 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite 
  • Demonstrated knowledge of software tools to proactively monitor network performance and monitor alarms 
  • Ability to work with a team collaboratively 
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to change 
  • Ability to provide on-call support in a 24x7x365 environment (on-site availability required) 
  • Demonstrated practice and commitment to the principles of patient and family centered care 
  • Demonstrated practice and commitment to patient and staff safety at LHSC 
  • Demonstrated practice and commitment to LHSC's vision, purpose, and values 
  • Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular basis
