The Project Delivery Support Analyst provides expertise in tracking and creating project, service request, resource, and budget reports utilizing a variety of data sources and multiple data source linkages.  Employs a reporting structure that efficiently utilizes system resources and automation tools that will minimize reporting turnaround times and decrease repetition of report development.   

The Project Delivery Support Analyst plays a key role in maintaining operational processes for Hospital Information Systems (HIS) Governance. This includes overseeing the administration of performance within HIS Committees and acting as a liaison between committee members and chairs. The role involves collaborating with executive leadership in HIS Governance groups, facilitating meetings, and coordinating efforts for strategic planning and execution. 

Integral to the role is also supporting process and system implementations by liaising with end users; and is a key contact\communication point for projects, programs, and service request creation, coordination, status, and tracking to all ITS supported organizations.

Qualifications

 
  • Successful completion of a three-year Certificate or Diploma in Business, Computer Programming or Health related field
  • Successful completion of a Degree in Statistics, Computer Science or Business preferred
  • Minimum three (3) years of recent experience in project management or systems support
  • Demonstrated knowledge of information technology and management information systems, modern electronic data processing theory, principles and practices, office automation and software applications
  • Demonstrated ability to assimilate a large quantity of diverse information, and apply analytical skills to problem identification, understanding, and resolution in a technology-based environment
  • Proficiency in meeting & workgroup facilitation skills
  • Demonstrated experience developing and implementing process re-design
  • Experience with established project processes, nomenclature, and the hospital environment
  • Demonstrated practice and commitment to the principles of patient and family centered care
  • Demonstrated practice and commitment to patient and staff safety at LHSC
  • Demonstrated practice and commitment to LHSC’s vision, purpose and values 
  • Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular basis

Immunization Requirements:

Before beginning employment at LHSC, all new hires will be required to: 

  • Provide vaccination records or proof of immunity against measles, mumps, rubella and varicella (chicken pox), Hepatitis B, Tetanus/ Diphtheria/Polio; Meningitis; 
  • Provide documentation of the Tuberculosis skin testing (two step); 
  • Provide proof of Health Canada-approved COVID-19 vaccination reflective of Ontario Health’s current definition of being fully vaccinated
