CASUAL PART-TIME REGISTERED CARDIOVASCULAR TECHNOLOGIST
Cardiac Testing: Ambulatory Care
Position available immediately
Job Duties:
Available for all shifts Monday through Friday (7.5h)
Perform all technical functions including electrocardiograms, Holter monitor hook-ups, exercise stress testing, phlebotomy and associated clerical work
Preceptor for Cardiovascular Technology students during clinical rotation
Job Qualifications
Must provide vaccination records or proof of immunity against measles, mumps rubella and varicella (chicken pox) and proof of 2 COVID-19 vaccinations
Must provide documentation of the Tuberculosis skin testing within the previous 12 months
Graduate of an approved Cardiovascular Technology Program preferred
Current registration with the Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists and the Cardiac Technologist Association of Ontario preferred
Current CPR certification
Demonstrated computer skills with Cerner Radnet/ MUSE experience preferred
Demonstrated competency and superior organizational skills to prioritize tasks in collaboration with other members of the healthcare team
Demonstrated leadership skills and mentoring abilities
Excellent interpersonal communication and critical thinking skills
Strong team player with the ability to perform duties independently and professionally
Evidence of ongoing professional development and self-directed learning
Demonstrated excellence in attendance
Understanding and demonstrated use of good body mechanics
