The Corporate Reporting Analyst authenticates Management Information Systems (MIS) ? Ontario Healthcare Reporting Standards? (OHRS) compliance with the Ministry of Health (MOH) for London Health Sciences Centre (LHSC). The Corporate Reporting Analyst is responsible for the data integrity of the PeopleSoft STATS and MOHSTATADJ general ledgers. Data in these ledgers is used to create the LHSC quarterly MIS Trial Balance for submission to MOH, populate monthly LHSC leadership reporting as well as inform the Hospital Annual Planning Submission which informs the Hospital Service and Accountability Agreement. As the hospital MIS-OHRS expert, this role provides guidance and interpretation of MIS-OHRS standards and definitions to LHSC leaders and staff. This role develops and maintains strict processes for data collection; continually evaluates and tests data quality; creates information reports for end users; and supports or leads projects/initiatives. On-going MIS quality improvement aligns with corporate priorities to successfully benchmark against peer hospitals and helps ensure maximization of funding calculated by MOH for LHSC. In addition to leading the MIS reporting for the organization, the Corporate Reporting Analyst is responsible for supporting the GL team in ensuring a smooth month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial statement reporting process.

Rate of Pay: $35.25 per hour to $44.06 per hour
Hours of Work : 37.5 hours per week
Duration: up to December 2026
Qualifications
As the ideal candidate, you have:
- Successful completion of an Undergraduate Degree in Business, Accounting, Statistics, or Computer Sciences
- Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation preferred
- Ontario Health Reporting Standards Level I & II preferred
- Knowledge and understanding of Ministry of Health `s Management Information Standards (OHRS/MIS and MIS certificate preferred)
- Minimum three (3) years of recent, related experience; 5 years preferred
- Attention to detail, strong technical and analytical skills
- Ability to apply analytical skills to problem identification, understanding, and mapping solutions
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite. Advanced user of Microsoft Excel (eg. pivot tables, vlookup, index/match, IF functions, etc.)
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with others in a consultative approach
- Sound professional judgement, and ability to multi-task and work within tight deadlines
- Skill in accurately performing detailed numerical computations in a timely manner using large amounts of financial and/or statistical data
- Adheres to confidentiality policy for sensitive financial data and information
- Advanced problem-solving skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills to adhere to strict financial deadlines
- Ability to guide, counsel and coordinate activities
- Demonstrated ability to research and assimilate a large quantity of diverse information
- Knowledge of data cleansing, data validation, and data governance best practices to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency.
- Effective communication skills for presenting complex statistical data to non-financial stakeholders and collaborating with different stakeholders/departments to ensure accurate output/findings.
- Related experience in an accounting environment with exposure to a range of accounting principles, practices and procedures in a hospital setting preferred
- Familiarity with benchmarking resources and methodologies preferred
- Experience working with Peoplesoft preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of Public Sector Accounting Board (PSAB) preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of and commitment to the principles of patient and family centred care
- Demonstrated knowledge of and commitment to patient and staff safety at LHSC
- Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular basis
- Demonstrated practice and commitment to LHSC's vision, purpose and values
