The Shipping and Receiving Coordinator receives and stores incoming material in the warehouse to ensure production readiness. The Shipping and Receiving Coordinator ships outbound materials and assists with material and inventory tracking.

 

Shift: Monday-Friday 8 AM-4:30 PM

The Role

  • Cleans containers of incoming material prior to entry into the raw material warehouse, and applies labels if necessary

  • Receives inbound material into the computer (Fourth Shift) system 

  • Delivers mail/packages, accounts for packing slips and files packing slips

  • Moves inventory and performs system transactions for movement of inventory in computer (Fourth Shift) system

  • Supports and supplies all departments with material / inventory needs

  • Completes daily safety inspections on lifting devices

  • Follows all Safety Policies and procedures and complies with all SOPs and GMPs.

  • Performs audits in finished goods and raw material warehouses (cycle counts); accompanies QA audits and assists with follow up to ensure GMPs are met.  

  • Determines appropriate warehouse location for finished goods, and enters inventory information in computer (Fourth Shift) system 

  • Other duties as assigned

 

The Candidate

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent is required

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in shipping, receiving or inventory control

  • Capable of operating related computer applications (including but not limited to; Word, Excel, Outlook, Fourth Shift)

  • Capable of obtaining a Forklift Certificate Class 1,2 and 3; Capable of obtaining Aerial Platform Certificate including Fall Arrest; Capable of obtaining Transportation of Dangerous Goods Certificate

  • Works cooperatively in teams, communicates clearly and has effective listening skills

  • Currently Catalent does not participate in the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP)

  • Candidates with non-Canadian credentials must provide an evaluation confirming the Canadian equivalency of the credentials as determined by the Alliance of Credential Evaluation Services of Canada (ACESC) such as WES

  • While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit and use their hands and fingers, to handle or feel and to manipulate keys on a keyboard. Use of manual dexterity is required. The employee is often required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, bend or twist, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision. The employee is required to stand for long periods of time and occasionally bend and lift
