Clinic & Wellness Assistant
30–40 hours/week | London, Ontario | Immediate opportunity
Hardick Chiropractic Centre has served families in London since 1971. We provide corrective chiropractic care, natural health guidance, lifestyle education, and proactive wellness support in a busy, positive and highly interactive clinical environment.
We are seeking a personable, health-minded and highly capable Clinic & Wellness Assistant to join our patient care team.
This opportunity may be particularly well suited to a recent graduate of Kinesiology, Fitness & Health Promotion, Health Sciences, or a related field who enjoys working directly with people and is interested in applying their health and wellness background in a real-world clinical setting.
About the Role
This is much more than a traditional front-desk position.
You will work alongside our doctors and team supporting the clinical, educational and operational sides of patient care, while helping patients feel welcomed, informed and supported throughout their experience in the clinic.
Responsibilities may include:
-
Assisting with patient flow during busy clinic shifts
-
Teaching and reviewing prescribed home exercises and spinal-care recommendations
-
Supporting patient wellness education and follow-up
-
Assisting with X-ray department procedures, patient preparation, digital processing and clinical records
-
Preparing patient files, reports and other clinical materials
-
Supporting nutrition and natural-health communication, depending on experience
-
Helping coordinate patient education, testimonials, case studies, and clinic initiatives
-
Contributing to social media and wellness content where skills and interest align
-
Assisting with scheduling, patient communication and front-office operations when needed
-
Supporting inventory, organizational projects and overall clinic flow
Who We're Looking For
The right person will be:
-
Warm, confident and comfortable interacting with people
-
Highly organized, dependable and able to take initiative
-
Genuinely interested in health, fitness, nutrition and natural wellness
-
Comfortable working in an active environment where priorities can change quickly
-
Able to communicate health information clearly and professionally
-
A strong team player who also works independently without constant direction
-
Comfortable with common digital tools, including Google applications, email and social platforms
Experience in kinesiology, fitness, personal training, rehabilitation, chiropractic, healthcare, wellness, nutrition, customer service or health education will be particularly valuable.
Graduates of Kinesiology and Fitness & Health Promotion are strongly encouraged to apply.
Experience with chiropractic care is welcomed but not required. Training will be provided.
Hours & Opportunity
We currently anticipate a commitment of approximately 30–40 hours per week, beginning as soon as possible.
Hours are primarily Monday through Friday and include a mixture of early mornings, daytime hours and some early evenings based on our patient-care schedule. Occasional weekend involvement may occur for special clinic events.
This position is being created during an important period of growth and team transition, including maternity-leave coverage.
The immediate need is for someone with substantial availability who can contribute approximately 30–40 hours per week. While the clinic’s staffing needs may evolve over time, there may be opportunity for the right person to continue in an ongoing role as the team develops.
We are looking for someone who is comfortable stepping into a significant role now, while remaining open to how the position may grow and evolve longer term.
