Salary Range: $29.11 - $34.23 /hour


The Sales & Marketing Assistant plays a key role in promoting Connect Care services and expanding our subscriber base across the community. This role engages directly with current and prospective subscribers, families, healthcare providers, and community partners to increase awareness and referrals for Connect Care services.

The ideal candidate is an energetic communicator who excels at relationship-building, community outreach, and delivering clear, engaging presentations.

Essential Qualifications

  • Secondary (High) School Diploma
  • Certificate in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in sales, advertising, customer relations, or marketing
  • Knowledge and experience with social media platforms and marketing campaigns
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build rapport and foster positive relationships
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
  • Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Experience delivering both formal and informal presentations to individuals and groups
  • Experience working in a healthcare environment, including familiarity with medical terminology and the needs of the senior population
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office productivity suite, enterprise and subject matter software.
  • Ability to travel within the catchment area for presentations, trade shows, outreach, and related activities
  • Knowledge of a Safety Culture in a Health Care Setting in compliance with Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proficiency in French would be an asset
  • Previous experience working in customer databases and managing customer information
  • Previous experience working with elderly adults
  • Strong critical thinking/troubleshooting skills
Teaching and Research
  • St. Joseph's Health Care London through its affiliation with Western University and Fanshawe College is a leading research and teaching hospital. As an employee of St. Joseph's, you will be expected to engage in role related teaching and research activities in addition to any of your clinical duties
Immunization Requirements
  • Provide vaccination records or proof of immunity against measles, mumps rubella, varicella (chicken pox), Hepatitis B, COVID-19 and influenza.
  • Provide documentation of the Tuberculosis skin testing
