REGULAR PART-TIME REGISTERED CARDIOVASCULAR TECHNOLOGIST
Cardiac Testing: Ambulatory Care
Position available immediately
Job Duties:
- Scheduled to work: two shifts per week
- Perform all technical functions including electrocardiograms, Holter monitor hook-ups, exercise stress testing, phlebotomy and associated clerical work
Job Qualifications
- Must provide vaccination records or proof of immunity against measles, mumps rubella and varicella (chicken pox) and proof of 2 COVID-19 vaccinations
- Must provide documentation of the Tuberculosis skin testing within the previous 12 months
- Graduate of an approved Cardiovascular Technology Program preferred
- Current registration with the Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists and the Cardiac Technologist Association of Ontario preferred
- Current CPR certification
- Demonstrated computer skills with Cerner Radnet/ MUSE experience preferred
- Demonstrated competency and superior organizational skills to prioritize tasks in collaboration with other members of the healthcare team
- Demonstrated leadership skills and mentoring abilities
- Excellent interpersonal communication and critical thinking skills
- Strong team player with the ability to perform duties independently and professionally
- Evidence of ongoing professional development and self-directed learning
- Demonstrated excellence in attendance
- Understanding and demonstrated use of good body mechanics
