Salary Range: $55.44 - $65.18 /hour
Parkwood Institute offers an exciting opportunity for a licensed Pharmacist to practice pharmaceutical care, with primary responsibilities in Mental Health. You will be responsible for identifying and resolving drug related problems serving the Mental Health programs at St. Joseph's Health Care London. As a valued member of the interdisciplinary team, you will interact with physicians and allied health professionals to optimize drug therapy in a patient focused environment.
You will work with patients and their families to provide care to assist and support them, meet their evident and anticipated needs, and enhance their quality of life. You will be a drug information resource and provide input on drug formulary and drug utilization issues. You will be involved in admissions and discharges as well as order verification. Opportunities for involvement include developing clinical practice guidelines, professional education and student education.
Essential Qualifications
- Part A licensed pharmacist in good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacists
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge of a Safety Culture in a Health Care Setting in compliance with the OHSA
- Ability and commitment to act as a supervisor under OHSA
- Proficiency in French would be an asset
- Graduate of an accredited Hospital Residency program
- Prior experience in hospital pharmacy or family heath team setting
- Working knowledge of Cerner and PowerChart

As an employee of St. Joseph's, you will be expected to engage in role related teaching and research activities in addition to any of your clinical duties
- Provide vaccination records or proof of immunity against measles, mumps rubella, varicella (chicken pox), Hepatitis B, COVID-19 and influenza.
- Provide documentation of the Tuberculosis skin testing
