Qualifications

• Successful completion of a Doctorate (PhD, MD) in Neurosciences
• Minimum two (1) years recent, related experience in a clinical setting
• Minimum two (2) years of educational experience, including Fellowship
• Active member of the Canadian Association of Neurophysiology Monitoring, preferred
• Registration with the The Canadian Board of Registration of Electroencephalograph Technologists (CBRET), preferred
• Working knowledge of devices used in applicable neurosurgery cases
• Ability to interpret and analyze data to develop reports and recommendations for surgeries
• Ability to organize and prioritize work
• Demonstrated attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as a member of the team
• Demonstrated knowledge of and commitment to the principles of patient and family centred care
• Demonstrated computer proficiency with Automated Clinical Systems
• Demonstrated practice and commitment to the principles of patient and family centered care
• Demonstrated practice and commitment to patient and staff safety at LHSC
• Demonstrated practice and commitment to LHSC?s Vision, Purpose, and Values
• Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular basis

Immunization Requirements:

• Provide vaccination records or proof of immunity against measles, mumps, rubella and varicella (chicken pox), Hepatitis B, Tetanus/ Diphtheria/Polio; Meningitis. 
• Provide documentation of the Tuberculosis skin testing (two step) and COVID vaccine series.
