WHO WE ARE:
Reporting to the Operations Manager, Cardiac Non-Invasive & Outpatient Services Department, the ECG Technician is required to perform adult electrocardiogram (ECG), Holter Monitors, Stress Testing, and Telemetry hookup. This position will also include rotation in Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery Outpatient Clinics. The Department offers a wide range of diagnostic Cardiology procedures for both inpatient and outpatient populations.

- Rate of Pay: $31.65 per hour - $36.18 per hour
- Hours: Full-Time and Part-time opportunities are available

- Registered Technologist with the Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists
- Successful completion of a Cardiovascular Technology program
- Current Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers course: BLS-HCP(C)
- Minimum one (1) year of recent related experience
- Demonstrated computer proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Internet Explorer, Cardiac Information Databases
- Ability to function independently and as a member of an interdisciplinary team
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated flexibility, adaptability and ability to manage change in a dynamic environment
- Physically fit and able to perform duties required in this fast-paced position
- Demonstrated practice and commitment to the principles of patient and family centered care
- Demonstrated practice and commitment to patient and staff safety at LHSC
